The other day we set up the MADIface XT to send a backup stream to another MADIface. When listening through the second MADIface the audio continued flawlessly when I disconnected the first MADIface from its laptop, which is great and what you’d expect for genuine multitrack redundancy.

However when reconnecting the first MADIface to the laptop again, the audio to the second MADIface was interrupted for half a second. Is this unavoidable?
