Topic: ADI-2 DAC and integrated amplifier

I have connected my ADI-2 DAC to analog inputs (RCA) of my integrated amplifier Primare I22. Can the volume level of ADI-2 affect the amplifier's operation? Where I must put the volume of ADI-2?

For your case I think this part is most relevant:

For example if the analog output should operate like a typical HiFi unit @ 2 V output level (equals +8 dBu), set the hardware Ref Level to +13 dBu and Volume to -5 dB. On the DAC a setting of +7 dBu and 0 dB volume would be as good as that and offers highest Signal to Noise Ratio.
