Topic: Matching volume levels on ADI2-Pro

Hi

I'm using the ADI-2 Pro FS in multichannel USB mode. Main 1/2 (balanced) are going to my power amp driving Left and Right speakers, while PH3/4 (unbalanced) is going to my powered subwoofers.

The power amp input sensitivity is rated

From the manual:

"Sets the reference level for the analog outputs 1/2. Choices are +4 dBu, +13 dBu, +19 dBu, +24
dBu, referenced to digital full scale level (0 dBFS). This setting is also valid for the front output
PH 1/2, with PH 1/2 having 3 dB higher output level. This way the setting +4 dBu becomes +7
dBu output level, +19 dBu becomes +22 dBu at the phones jack. These two settings are therefore
identical to Hi-Power Off and On at Phones Output 3/4. "

The power amp input sensitivity is rated for 1.3V (I suspect that's for unbalanced though...): https://nadelectronics.com/product/m27- … amplifier/

I have Main 1/2 Ref Level set to +4dBU and Phones 3/4 Hi-Power is off. Does this mean I need to set the output volume of PH 3/4 3dB higher than Main 1/2 ?
Also, is there a way to enable Linked volume control permanently? Right now I'm only able to access that by repeatedly toggling the Vol button until I reach the linked volume screen.

Thank you
Peter

Not higher, lower. +7 dBu is a higher output level than +4 dBu...

To have the Dual Volume control in the status bar always active plug an empty TRS jack into Phones 1/2.
