Nowhere . As long as the´cable can still be plugged in you might let it stay this way. Repair requires to replace the whole TOSLINKs.

dang. probably wont be doing that on the FF400.
well, it can be plugged in but needs some duct tape to stay plugged in

Gonna replace it with UCX and UFX+ soonish anyway.
