I have a Fireface 400 that I purchased 10 or 12 years ago and has served me well, but it has suddenly stopped working. The box appears to get power and the display lights are the same as ever. However, there is no sound, and neither the fireface settings or TotalMix will load.

I am running windows 7, Intel Quad CPU Q6700 @2.66Ghz (yes, it's an old machine but it has run fireface up until now), and 8 GB RAM

I have not installed any software of late so there should be nothing conflicting. I have windows updates set to manual so that shouldn't be the issue, although I probably haven't updated in a while

I have tried updating the drivers. I have tried a new cable. I have tried changing the firewire port to the legacy driver.

Does anyone have any advice or insight? I'm wondering if there is something wrong with the board at this point.
