Topic: No sound with GarageBand and VLC

My Fireface UFX+ playsback Spotify perfectly, but I got no sound when running audio from softwares like GarageBand or VLC.

How can I get sound playback when running these two softwares?

You might need to visit System preferences/Security & privacy and allow access to audio for GB and VLC?

I am using iMac. I’ve gone to áudio in system preferences but I can only select the sound card. There is no option for choosing any software.

You need to select “Security & privacy”, not “Sound” to allow apps to use sound input.
