Topic: Are there tiny noise Fireface400 S/PDIF direct?

Hi, I am Fireface400(FF400) user and I have utilized it about 10 years for my development.
In my development, I often uses S/PDIF port connected with my development board.

But recently, I notices tiny noise when I connected FF400 S/PDIF out -> S/PDIF in directly.
Although the noise level is very small, less than -150dB, I want to remove it if possible.

And the noise is not appeared at HDSPe AIO in same PC and same VST host.
So I wonder Fireface400 generates the noise.

Do you have any information?

Best,

Takeshi

You either did not use ASIO, had the TM FX faders not on 0 dB, or recorded with TMS active.

Thanks for your quick reply!

Yes! "TMS active" is the origin. After I turned off TMS active and reboot PC, noise is  disappered.
I also checked TMS has turned off in HDSPe AIO setting.
