Topic: UCX USB driver 3.15 problems

Hi, i just installed 3.15 drivers on my mid 2015 retina 15 inch MacBook Pro and the kernel_task process is killing my CPU with 500% and above usage. I can not use my computer. And this happens even without using any DAW.
When i disconnect the UCX the computer works normal.
What can i do? please i need to work.
Can i go back to the previous version on the driver? Where do i find it?

Former drivers are still available as download, simply change the link string with the required number.

Hi,

I have updated to version 3.15 and also updated USB firmware to USB Revision 48
then I started having glitches with cubase. I tried the previous drivers you posted above, but the same problem happened. I reinstalled my Mac OS from a previous backup, and now using drivers version 1.52

it was mentioned that "A driver version 2.16 USB / 3.29 FW or higher is required for these firmware versions."

I am on driver version 1.52 so how can I solve that issue?

You are the only company that I fully trust, and that's why I have updated!

Ok, so today despite restoring my Mac from a backup, my computer had restarted twice while using cubase! Something that NEVER happened before! I’m in the middle of a project and this is driving me crazy. I have a 5,1 MacPro tower 12 Core 3.3Ghz and 48GB of RAM running Sierra. The problem happened since I upgraded the firmware.... PLEASE help!

Simply install an older firmware version if you think this is the problem (not very likely, though). You are on USB 48 now.  Most probably you had been on 47 or 46 before:
