RME User Forum → HDSP(e) series → Rme Hammerfal dsp settings
I am the owner of rme aio from 2012, since a week I can not open dsp settings located in task bar/ win 10 64/. Even in Cubase /different versions 6,5 -10artist/ it's impossible to change latency or other parameters. How to solve this problem? Please help:)!

Can you open Totalmix? Does the card work otherwise? Which driver version is installed?

I can open Totalmix. the card works ok. I used the latest driver but yesterday I preinstaled older driver - nothing changed.

Find the hdsp settings program in the windows folder and run it as admin once. Sometimes a win 10 update can block an app for no (valid) reason. windows/system32/hdsp32.exe
I did it and I can see in the task manager that the process is running. I cannot see any window at the desktop.

Now I noticed that untill I clik on the icon in the task bar the process is not running though I run as administrator and confirm yes on the screen:( at first

Ah might be off screen somewhere. There is a program called force window visible that might help. Once it is back in a normal place it will stay there. Hope this is it.
Thank to you Vincent I solved the problem. I installed "force window visible" and it showed that missing window but it was impossible to recall it on the desktop. In the "read me" file the same was stated. But it helped me to find the solution.
I disconected two of my 3 monitors and the lost window appeared on the desktop. Again everything under controll:))

Great! Yes this can sometimes happen with multi monitor setups (I have 3 too). Especially when you change the virtual position of the monitors.
