Topic: Getting nothing from Mic/Line input, can't record audio

Hi, I just purchased an UFX.  I can hear playback of soft synths inside my DAW, but I can't record or hear/monitor/play any audio.

Also, I'm unable to hear any general system audio from iTunes, YouTube, or other sounds like that from my computer.  I am able to see the levels inside TotalMix and on the interfaces graphic display, but can't hear anything.  My monitors are connected to outputs 3/4, so I'm pretty sure that's why.  The meters are jumping on output 1/2.  But this does not explain my inability to record audio, like electric guitar.

I'm having the same problems in both Cubase and Logic.

Please help!!

Hi, thanks for reply.  I'm not on Mojave.  I'm on Sierra.  My Privacy tab does not contain any interaction with microphone or DAW.
