Topic: Fireface 400 - Using ADAT 5-8 instead of 1-4 by using DS and 96kHz

Hi,

I'm using a HDSPe RayDat and a ADI-8 MKIII and would like to connect my Fireface 400 through ADAT. I'm working with DS (96kHz) and when I'm turning on DS on my Fireface it lets me use input 1-4 only, as the fireface needs two input channels for one (1=1+2, 2=3+4, 3=5+6, 4=7+8). I would like to use channels 5-8 instead of 1-4 as these channels are all line levels and on the back of the fireface. Is there any possibility?

I thought there should be an option where I can make a new ADAT routing e.g. 5=1+2, 6=3+4, 7=5+6, 8=7+8

I hope someone can help me out with that.

Yes you can, through totalmix just send input pair 5 6 to output pair adat1 2 etc. Mute inputs 1-4
