Topic: Is it possible for output 5 & 6 to have a mono signal only?

I want to add a Mixcube to my speaker collection, which will make my ideal speaker setup look like this:

-Output 1/2: main monitors
-Output 3/4 B monitors
-Ouput  5/6: Mixcube/tv screen, both receiving mono signal.

In addition I would very much like to know if it is possible to output a stereo signal to one of the line outputs? Besides the headphone output I mean.

Thank you!

With totalmix anything is possible. You can make an output a mono channel by clicking on the wrench icon of the channel. You can assign 6 outputs in the assign tab, 2 speaker pairs A and B and 4 headphones. Of course you can connect anything to those outputs.
An output that is assigned to one of those six can not be made mono so they must be un assigned for the mixcube and TV.

Hi Vincent,

Thank you for replying!

Unfortunately, I'm stuck.
I've set up the 5/6 output in the "Control Room" section as you can see here:

But as you said, this cannot be made mono, so how would I go about doing this?

Many thanks!

You have to remove it from the control room function. Then you can make it 2 mono. I tried cause you gave me a great idea. I had ext fx set up with a stereo pair and had to use  the panner to choose between delay and reverb. Now the sends are mono with their own submix.

It has been removed, so how would I go about routing signal to those channels?
Also, do you think it would still be possible to use the remote for the volume like with the A/B/Headphone faders?

I don't have the remote, sorry. I send to the outputs from my DAW, cubase, which has a control room function.
What I would do not knowing your exact setup, is make presets in totalmix for all speaker situations. In totalmix just route what you want to hear to the specific output and mute the others. Then safe snapshot.
