Topic: FF802 and headphones

I'm looking for a set of headphones for my 802 interface and am thinking of getting the Beyer770's.  My problem is I'm not sure of exactly which version to get either the 80 ohms or 250 ohms.
They will be used for tracking/recording not mixing.
I have no headphone amp and don't even know if i would need one.
Recommendations please..

Listen to ADI-2 Pro FS in combination with Audeze LCD-3 Alcantara version.
After this listening experience you will know whats possible and whether you want it.

The ADI-2 Pro FS is not only a headphone amp. You will also get better sound through your monitors.

I tested several phones over the ADI-2 Pro. Also Sennheiser, Beyer ...
The Audeze LCD-3 in Alcantara is really stunning.

You will get dynamic loudness, auto ref level, PEQ .. all very nice things ...

Try and decide.
