Topic: Problems with setting up Fireface UC on Mac

HI guys,

I just got today my fireface UC to replace a Steinberg interface I had so far.
Unfortunately I didn't have a great experience so far...while the Steinberg was pretty much plug'n'play - the Fireface is already driving me a little crazy after downloading all kinds of driver versions, re-installing etc. etc.
Im running OS mojave 10.14.4 on a macbook pro and installed the latest driver for OS 10.12 or higher.
I can see the Fireface in my audio settings and can pick is as my source. But: all audio programs wont work. Itunes not playing, Ableton going crazy, Totalmix (the mixing view) wont open. Plus: It seems like my computer struggles since the whole installation program. Its lacking pretty hard when I go the audio settings for instance.
Any similar difficulties here?
I'd be glad for any help!

In the manual, chapter installation. Change the unit to AP mode.
