Topic: [SOLVED] UFX II DURec - filesystem error

Hello,

I recently acquired a UFX II and would like to make recordings using DURec. I have 2 Sandisk flash drives: Extreme USB 3.0 64GB and Cruzer Edge 8GB. I've formatted both of them to FAT32 as suggested by the manual. Both contain only 1 partition.

When I plug them into the front USB port of my UFX II, I always get filesystem error in the display.

What could be done to make them work?

Thanks
Anton.

Make sure you use MBR for the Fat32 file system. On Mac Disk Utility this is hidden under "more options".

GPT was my problem exactly. UFXII works with MBR like a charm!

Thanks a lot.

I've tried reformatting to Fat32 with my 16in MBP retina, but to no avail for whatever reason. Am I missing something?

See post 2 above. You need to format with Master Boot Record enabled.
