Topic: Muliface 1 on Notebook without any cardslot (pcmcia or pci express)

Hallo,
I have an old style Multiface with an PCI express Adapter on my old style I7 desktop (first Intel I7 Generation). So, now I have a brand new really nice laptop and want to adapt this notebook (DELL Precision) on my Multiface. Is there a possibility to buy an interface (USB-C to Multiface, or what ever) to run my old loving Multiface on my new Notebook???
I saw a PCI express external box with an usb link, is this an option (also concerning of latency)?

USB will not work, but a Thunderbolt chassis for the HDSP PCIe host card would be fine.
