Topic: Multiface II with a regular PCI-E FireWire Card?
Can I use the Multiface II with a regular PCI-Express FireWire Card, for example the DIGITUS 1394-A Card?
And if yes, do I need to take care on some of the new (no clue!) BIOS pci-e options?

No, it's not really a FireWire device, RME just uses a FW400 cable for communication. You need a HDSP host card for the Multiface.

Thanks for the fast answer! What a pitty! It seems there is nowhere a HDSP host card for PCI-E to buy anywhere At least not only the card, without any additional RME audio hardware!
I think this then is the solution?
