Topic: Headphone Amp for BFP : connections

Hello there, I 'm about to buy this HP Amp :

to be used with my BFP and the Beyerdynamics DT1990 Headphones

How would you connect the BFP to the AMP ?

BFP Headphone OUT 6.3 Jack to "Y" splitted XLR -> AMP ? ( Amazon got some, search "trs to dual xlr"  )

Any other suggestions ?

Thank you

Andrea

Re: Headphone Amp for BFP : connections

You have 3.5mm stereo connection on both units, I would think this is most appropriate. That leaves the Babyface Pro XLR and 6.3mm jacks free for other use.

Re: Headphone Amp for BFP : connections

Yes Jeff, you're right, thank you...although Neve distinctively report its XLR interface as

Input A: +4dBu Line (XLR or TRS) Devices to be used with Studio Audio Interfaces (Line or Monitor Out)

on other hand :

Input C: 3.5mm (1/8”) Stereo Devices
...
...
Any 3.5mm headphone output

I was trying to ascertain whether the +4dBu or the different  internal circuitry/wiring could have a role in the signal purity cause.

Not trying to be "sound nerd", but we're talking bout a 600$ Amp here... :-D
