Hi I own a baby face pro with an external dc supply
Do you know if there is a way for the baby face to ignore the usb power ?
I’d like to switch the bf on (using my monitors) and off (using IMAC speakers) without unplugging the usb cable all the time, Using the external dc power

And if I take a usb cable permanently cut the +5v on it and stick the external dc supply to the bf pro ?

Yes, switching off the PS would then switch off the BF. There are adapters available that break + and ground, no need to cut/solder a cable.
