Topic: UC: No Playback after driver update to v3.16

No audiofile playback possible, after driver update from 3.15 to 3.16. In Audacity and Quicktime the file doesn't play at all. The cursor doesn't move. In logic the cursor moves a tiny bit and jumps back over and over again. But no audio.

As soon as i select the built in speaker as output, it behaves normal.

Tested in Logic Pro x 10.4.6, Audacity 2.3.2, Quicktime Player.

2.9 Ghz Intel core i7
16 GB RAM

A little update:

I was able to re-install back to driver v3.15 (from an old installer). Now everything works fine again, like expected.

If you are interested how the bug looked like in logic, I provided a short video of the strange "jumping-behavior" downloadable from my dropbox account (the video will be deleted in a few days):

The audio code of 3.15 and 3.16 is 100% identical. That matches that no one else ever reported this unusual issue. Maybe give 3.16 another try?

But one question. If the code is identical (v3.15 ==v3.16), what is the advantage to have v3.16 installed?

Mentioned in the readme:

New in Version 3.16

- Added support for MIDI over MADI for MADI I/O of Digiface Dante (requires firmware 36)

- New TotalMix FX 1.61:

Both have no influence nor needed changes of the audio driver part. And only that one was hanging in your case.
