Topic: HDSP card dead?

Greetings!

So I have an old Multiface 1 / hdsp card that's been working faithfully for over a decade. I turned on computer to start a session yesterday, I notice that the RME mixer is acting weird - graphics dissolving in and out, faders showing signal / levels maxed out but no audio (thankfully - would have blown my monitors!). The red light on the multiface also stayed on. So I restart computer and it wont boot. I start pulling cards out to see if a board is not working, sure enough when I pulled the HDSP and restarted the computer booted up.

Any ideas?

This weekend I had to clean the contacts of my hdsp9632 PCI card cause with it in the PC,computer would not boot. After cleaningt it worked flawless again. Use an eraser gum and clean long and hard. worth the try!
