Topic: Madiface XT Tunderbolt 3

Hi there,

i used my Madiface XT with an Matrox pcie-card and an Thinkpad (Windows 7) for years and it runs perfect without any problems.

But now i have a new Thinkpad (Windows 10) and tried using it with USB and there are problems with lost asio buffer that can't be fixed.

Is there any reliable solution eg. with an sonnet echo II that works together with Tunderbolt 3?

Are you sure you tried everything. Laptops can be problematic for various reasons. If it is for example your onboard wifi or trackpad software causing this, thunderbolt won't help probably and if you fix that usb will work too. OTH if it is just a bad usb implementation, thunderbolt will probably help.

Yes, i tried various things and asked Digital Audio Service in Hamburg to check the computer. All drivers (incl. Bios) is up to date. So I suppose it's the usb implementation.
