Topic: Programmaticly access to Input/Output gain settings

Hi!

I would like to buy an ADI-2 PRO FS for using it in an automated measurement environment. Is it possible to control the gain settings of the inputs and outputs programmatically? Is there an API for controlling those parameters?

Best regards, Julian

There is no interface to the USB world for such parameters, and won't come, sorry.

Might not midi control of totalmix do what you need ?

ADI-2 hooked upto suitable rme interface

send it midi control commands to totalmix to raise/lower whichever channel you want from your software

HDSPe AES + HDSPe RayDat + HDSPe MADI
ADI-2 mk.1 x2 + other converters
Cubase + VEP

Re: Programmaticly access to Input/Output gain settings

I would like to select the gain of the preamp - I don't want to multiply the signal in the digital domain.
The aim is to use the ADI-2 PRO FS as audio measurement equipment, for that reason this device is on top of my list. This great peace of hardware has not only an outstanding audio performance - it seems to have a very predictable input gain too ;-) Looks like I have to change the input gain manually.
