Topic: Noise with 2 rme digiface usb connected with adat

Hello,
I have 2 rme digiface connected with adat so that i had 64 outputs and inputs in bitwig. That causes noise. With 1 rme digiface i have no problems. Both rme digifaces work correct, but only when i sync them to each other the noise comes. Do you have more issues with this?

Are both Digifaces connected to the same mains power rail?

And is the mains ground connected correctly?

It sounds like a ground-loop problem. But I can't tell as you don't mention what's on the other end of the ADAT connection.

Also, with ADAT, you should let one of the ADAT devices be sync master, in general.
