did anyone manage to install and use Totalmix FX on Linux with Wine?
I tried but without success.

I am just guessing, but I can imagine this ways to explore further:
1) somehow forcing RME card IP in order to be controlled by TotalMix FX Remote app from elsewhere
2) using QEMU to passthrough RME into other system to use as driver host and then access it through: https://www.qemu.org/
