Topic: UFX+ and Babyface not syncing through ADAT

Hey All,

I recently purchased the UFX+ and I am trying to have my Babyface Pro clock to the UFX through ADAT. I think I have everything setup correctly but the UFX+ ADAT green light keeps flashing. These are my settings:

Babyface Pro ADAT OUT <---optical cable---> UFX+ ADAT IN

Babyface Pro set to "Optical In' for clock source.
UFX+ set to "Internal" for clock source.
Both are at 48kHz.

The Babyface Pro will not change it's Current Clock from Internal. I have tried all sorts of different settings and order of powering up devices. Nothing seems to work. Perhaps I'm missing something somewhere?

Any help would be much appreciated.

You set optical in as clock source but have no cable from UFX+ to BBF Pro.

Clock can only be delivered on a sending port towards another device.

So plug another TOSLINK cable from UFX (adat out) to BBF Pro (adat in).
