Topic: PC won't boot after RME HDSP Multiface PCI card inserted

I have RME HDSP Multiface (I) interface connected to PC via firewire and PCI card.

Recently, after I had moved to new studio, the card stopped working.
This happened to me before, so I tried reinstalling the drivers and flash the PCI card's firmware, which worked before.

It didn't work this time and now my PC won't even boot with the PCI card inserted.

The PCI card is of revision 1.9.

My OS is Windows 10.

I suspect that I might flash it with wrong firmware? Is this even possible?
I have used the fut_wdm_dsp.zip firmware, which doesn't seem to do anything.
And then I've installed this driver file driver_hdsp_win_429.zip.

Is there any remedy to this problem please?

I will try to reset my PC's CMOS.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Clean the contacts of the pci card very thoroughly with a pencil eraser gum and then reinsert. Helped here for the same problem with a hdsp9632.
