Hallo

I m proude user of a HDSPe MADI FX:

On the AES Out hangs my ADI-2 PRO

On MADI 1: Ferrofish Pulse 16 MX

On Pulse 16 MX plugged via ADAT a ADI2 (i have to buy one, but I have sometimes my ADI2pro there currently)

On Pulse 16 MX plugged via ADAT my ADI2pro 3/4 out (2nd headphone out)

On Pulse 16 MX Analog IN/OUT some Synths and preAmp:
5x Stereo
3x Mono.

With 44,1khz evrything is fine,
but with 192khz:
Analog IN 1-8 form the Pulse 16 MX shonw in TM on 1/2 and 3/4 all Stereo Synths are Mono.
With 96k Frame instead of 48k MADI-Frame, in the Settings of the Pulse 16 MX makes all Synths visible on 1/2 in TM.

I read the Manual of my Gear, consulte google but don't come further.
Can you help me please?

Congrats.

I could think of that you 1st need to check that clock rate is really set to 192 kHz on all devices.
With MADI its tricky to differentiate exactly between single, double, quad speed.
So you might need to configure this manually on the Pulse 16 MX and then store to a setup for 44.1, 192, ... as you need it.

At 192 kHz you have only 16 (of 64) channels on one MADI bus.
So one Pulse 16 MX can be connected.
On the Pulse 16 MX you need most likely to map the analog inputs and outputs
(possible like with RME preamps)  in groups of 8 to the MADI channels 1..8 and 9..16 IN/OUT
For TotalMix FX channel configuration you need to ask yourself whether you want ADM (ASIO direct monitoring) or not.
I read heare in forum a few weeks ago, that ADM works best if all input channels are mono.
See Reset mix options for ADM layout.
But you do not necessarily need to use ADM.
Simply click to the tool symbol of input and output channels and press Stereo button of MA1 to create a stereo channels MA1/2. If you need Mono, then leave a channel mono and set the panning to Center.

I forgot to check the clock.

The first Point in the Pulse 16MX Menu.

Was used from ADAT that clock set's automaticaly and sleeping over.

Thank you!

But i can't make a working "LoopBack" in TM.
It doesn't care wich HardwareOut i loopback,
there never come a signal to it's lookbacked Input.

With my MultifaceII it never was a problem.

TM also seems to loose it's settings sometimes, when i start the computer, or restart win7.

Loopback works as explained in the manual. The loopbacked signal does NOT show up at the TM input (why should it? It is not routable...) but in the respective ASIO software's input channel. The time it showed up in TM level meters (not TM FX) was a bug (long time ago).

Sometimes TM FX loose it's settings.
I just to have load a Workspace "to fix it".

But have no glue why it happens.

If you change your setup....

Update your Snapshot (which is appropriate to be updated 1..8)
Update the workspace file (TM FX -> Save Workspace As)
Update the workspace quick select slot (TM FX -> Workspace Quick Select 1..30)

Maybe you should set in Preferences
    (X) always init DSP devices with TM FX settings
so that the TM FX setup is always loaded on boot/login.
