Topic: What does HDSP-Loader do?

Hi.

I have fear to use HDSP-Loader because i beliefe, it updates evrytime i use it, my HDSPe Card? (I usually use Windows only sometimes Linux, on this machine)
Is this correct?

Do Windows also wirte every system-startup a Firmware on my HDSPe Card?
