many hardware tests and many firmware versions later RME now have to confirm that the first series of ExpressCards shipped has stability problems. The cards mostly work, but it is not guaranteed. Even if they work now for you, they might fail in your next laptop.

Therefore we offer an exchange to an updated (the currently shipping) ExpressCard. Our distributors are informed, please mail them and ask about the procedure for exchange.
