Topic: Totalmix plugins

Hi
I would like to use my RME Totalmix plugins for mixing but I do not know how.
my situation is:
with Ableton I'm playing my kick track and I want to mix it with Totalmix plugins (Compressor and EQ) and record it again with the new character, the problem is I can't listen to it while mixing it I just get a heavy feedback and phasing issues.
my routing is Hardware Inputs 1/2 to 3/4 Software Playback with Loopback on.
in Ableton when I turn the track (in) on I'm just getting Feedback and can't hear anything but phase.
any help please?

These are no VST plugins like in a DAW. Some recording interfaces have a dedicated FX chip, there the effects are implemented in hardware.

Using TM FX Loopback you need to use different channels between input and output to avoid feedback by another loopback - the DAW's monitoring.
