Topic: HDSP 9652 PCI Rev 1.7 + Millennia AD-596

Hey guys, how are you?

I´m planning to use my Millennia AD-596 to add 8 channels to my 9652 rig.

What´s the best way to do this? I need to use some kind of digital converter to go from AES to ADAT (if I wanna add 8 channels), right?

Comments? Ideas?

Cheers!

Here´s the Milennia:

Eight-channel analog-to-digital converter
24-bit/96kHz AES format converter
Internal or external clocking with AES or Wordclock in/out on BNC connectors
Millennia's proprietary True-Lock Clock for outstanding performance with an external clock
DB25 I/O connectors that conform to the Tascam wiring standard
-20dBFS reference level
API 500 series compatible format
