I just bought a brandnew Madiface XT from Digital Audio Networx. At first everything seemed to work fine. After the driver and firmware update, the buttons and knobs on the device itself do not work anymore.

I tried the firmware update a second time, but the problem remains. Both the firmware updates ended like they should.

I found a setting in totalmix FX about locking the UI, but I think that is software related only and does not impact the fysical buttons, or is it?

Is this a hardware failure? Or is there a setting that is causing this? Can I perform a factory reset? Or do I need to rollback the firmware/driver?

Madiface XT - Firmware update ended with:
- New revision: USB 3.0 191, PCIe 56, DSP 42
- Fallback USB revision: 189
- Programming status: Verify ok

Digiface USB - Firmware update ended with:
- New revision: 13
- Current USB revision: 12
- Programming status: Verify ok

Background details:
- Windows 7 latest update
- Asus Z87-PRO
- Orion32 connected thought madiport 1 (sync)
- RME ADI-648 connected through madiport 2 (sync)
- Digiface USB with the latest firmware and same drive as the XT
- 228 inputs and 232 outputs selectable in Ableton Live
- TMFX works as it should for all connected devices
- TMFX can control the XT, I can see the main level changing on the display of the XT, since it is stuck in the mainscreen
- I have disconnected the power of the XT for over an hour and after powerup the problem remains
- XT via Intel USB3 port, buffersize 32 (without issues)
- Digiface via USB 2 port: at least 1 adat port works flawless, have not connected more ports
- RME FF800 and UFX mk I still work as before, I have 4 mixer-tabs in TMFX
