Topic: Windows wont detect my ufx+ in windows sound settings

Hey.
Just bought the ufx+ from amazon USA.

1. It doesnt say for how long is the warranty. Anyone knows?

2. I connected the ufx+ via usb 3. In cubase everything works. But on all other softwares like chrome or vlc theres no sound.
I dont see an rme interface in the windows sound settings. I have only realtek and my hdmi monitor.
In the manual it says to install wdm app but in the ufx+ it says only support tuhnderbolt.

How do i fix it?

3. I have 5.1 monitors that i can connect to the ufx+. Can i play 5.1 movies via vlc or mpc?

4. What is the product registration for?
Do i have to fill it for the warranty?

Windows and most Applications are not ASIO aware, for those you need WDM devices, see manual.

I found the wdm in the settings but how do i make the interface to play movies in 5.1?

Is it even possible?

I connect the 5.1 monitors via trs.

Please help

Search manual for "5.1".
