Topic: [dac] 5-band EQ too few

I want 10-band EQ,can RME meet my needs?

Re: [dac] 5-band EQ too few

It has been mentioned several times on the forum that there are not enough resources free for things like that.

Enabling the 10-band EQ would disable other DSP or reduce the sampling rate to 192 kHz, which might be a good idea.

Re: [dac] 5-band EQ too few

.. if you *need* 10 bands of EQ you probably also need 20 or 40! I would suggest to apply a room-correction plugin ahead of your output (maybe SonarWorks?), or if you prefer (premium) hardware, look towards a https://www.trinnov.com/st2-pro/ which is way beyond simple eq ..

actually .. i suspect Trinnov might be RME OEM soundcards in turnkey action? wink
