RME User Forum → ADI-2 & 2/4 Pro series, ADI-2 DAC series → ADI-2 DAC - 16 Errors
It says zero crc5/16 errors. crc5/16 is an crc type not 16 errors. in 2.1 minutes so everything is fine!
The other thing you sat up in the rme panel. number of outputs I guess (I have a different card)
Hi.
Two questions:
1. For some reason, in MADIface settings shows me 16 errors. What's the problem?
Did you never wonder, why the amount of errors is always the same ? ;-)

No, I'm a noob, so its' ok) Why?
And maybe you'll help me with this problem too?

Excuse me for my comment, but really, from pure logic, the nature of transmission errors is to increase
and not to stay permanently at 16 whenever you look.

You are getting already support by RME, they know their products best.
Ok, thanks.
And what about me 2-nd question? So it should be?
2. Windows defines the ADI-2 DAC only through an analog connection. So it should be?

That what Daniel Fuchs said to me:
So far, this is the first I hear of such a phenomeon.
I thought that maybe you have encountered this problem?
Ok, thanks.

I think I now I understand your point.
The ADI-2 DAC has
- no AD and
- one DA chip inside, so from computer perspective 2 analog outputs.
The ADI-2 Pro * models have among other features
- an AD and
- two D/A chips inside
which enable these units to have 4 analog outputs.
You get and use analog outputs and the Windows Control panel shows you exactly that.
