RME User Forum → FireWire & USB series → Way t o remove completely RME FF 800 drivers and software - macOS?
I want to remove completely drivers and software for FF 800 on macOS 10.11.6 (El Capitan) ?
(Removing for forever).
Is there an uninstaller that would ease the process ? - I find stuff written in 2007 more or less, for older versions of both drivers and macOS, but most of those steps just cant be found...

In case of problems the driver files can be deleted manually by dragging them to the trash bin:
FireWire
/Applications/Fireface Settings
/Applications/Totalmix
/System/Library/Extensions/FirefaceAudioDriver.kext
/Users/username/Library/Preferences/de.rme-audio.TotalmixFX.plist
/Users/username/Library/Preferences/de.rme-audio.FirefaceSettings.plist
/Library/LaunchAgents/de.rme-audio.firefaceAgent.plist
Under the latest Mac OS the User/Library folder is not visible in the Finder. To unhide it start Finder, click on the menu item Go. Hold down the option (alt) key, then click on Library.

I was able to do all, except I cannot find the last one:
/Library/LaunchAgents/de.rme-audio.firefaceAgent.plist
Any idea ?
It's in the normal path, HD - Library - Launch Agents.

I am trying to remove drivers from Mac Studio on MACOS 12.4 but can only find the 2 applications and the Launch Agents file. Cannot find the others anywhere? Will this matter if I am installing the new Babyface Pro FS?
Not at all - totally different drivers.
