Topic: TotalMix FX not visible under Catalina

I have yet to get TotalMix up and running on my brand new MacBook Pro running Catalina.
I have an RME Fireface UFX (original)

The UFX is detecting USB. It is NOT running in Compatibility Mode.
The Fireface USB Settings dialog launches successfully -- no noticeable issues.
When I try to launch TotalMix FX, no window appears, but the menus are visible.
If I select File/New TotalMix Window I get the Function & Device Select Window but no entries in the Device Selection list.

It looks like a few people have seen similar things. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: TotalMix FX not visible under Catalina

What is "compatibility mode"? Did you mean "Class Compliant" mode?

What version of driver did you install (full name of the Zip file)? Did you try reinstalling the driver yet?

Re: TotalMix FX not visible under Catalina

Jeff, you are correct. I meant Class Compliant mode.

Driver was latest available on website: driver_usb_mac_3183.zip

I have reinstalled several times, including trying to remove driver files before install.

Re: TotalMix FX not visible under Catalina

What kind of adapters are you using for the USB connection on this new Mac? In other words, explain the USB connection in detail.

Re: TotalMix FX not visible under Catalina

I've tried multiple USB-C to USB-A adapters (Aukey, AmazonBasics, Insignia) as well as multiple USB cables.

Fireface USB Settings is reporting: Fireface UFX (23302045) Firmware: v360 Driver: v3.18
TotalMix FX is reporting: Version 1.64 Mac OS X (1)
Device Info on the TotalMix Help menu is unavailable.

Re: TotalMix FX not visible under Catalina

Finally got things to work during yet one more re-install of the driver. Suspect it was Mac OS blocking access to the driver and somehow it didn't get authorized properly at other times.

Hi! I have the same problem now, can you tell me how to resolve this problem?
