Topic: Are the effect algorithms different in the UFX+ than the original UFX?

I'm a long time owner of an UFX. It's still working great. I understand the newer models have a greater amount of DSP.  You can use more instances of them due to larger channel counts. Are there anymore types of effects etc.
thanks

No, TM FX is all the same .. only difference is, that some devices have an FX chip (thus effects) and others not.

USB interfaces, full implementation: UFX, UFX II, UFX+, UCX, 802
                    partial implementation: BBF Pro/FS
PCIe cards: HDSPe MADI FX (the only PCIe card with effects!)

In BBF Pro special case, some of the effects (I think it was "dynamics") are being computed by the driver on the PC, see manual.

Thanks, so Reverb and Delay are same on UFX and UFX+  I'm home from the road and using my home studio more. t's been about 3 years since I've done any serious work. Still loving my UFX. Just trying to remember how to do things.  I know the audio specs are better on UFX+ but I still love the sound of my original UFX. Thanks
