Topic: Firmware Update Fireface 400 on Mac OS Catalina

Hi all,

I am trying to update the firmware of a FF400 from v1.71 to v2.77
The application does not run though; terminal give me the message >> zsh: bad CPU type in executable: /Users/luxi/Downloads/Fireface Flash Update 171 277/Fireface Flash.app/Contents/MacOS/Fireface Flash <<

I am aware, that there can be problems if the login shell is not set to /bin/zsh - however mine is already in the correct mode.
Maybe anyone has an idea what could be the problem here or knows a workaround how I could get the flash tool running??

There is no problem. The latest firmware for FF400 is 1.71. Read again, 2.77 is for the Fireface 800.
