Topic: UC update

Hi, are there plans to update the UC audio interface?
I mean, it was released more than 10 years ago, still a high quality device but specs are quite outdated.
So, my question is there any planned update for the UC that worth waiting for?

Specs are still well enough for recording. A few dB of this or that do not make a big issue.
What specs do you mean in particular ? With what device do you compare ?

The upgrade to the UC is the Fireface UCX with
- updated mic preamps with technology from micstasy and with autoset
- low latency converter
- full implementation of FX chip
- class compliant mode
- 6 stand-alone profiles
- USB + FW

Not really considering the UCX, because it's more like comparing the 802 to UFX.
I don't need track live or the effects. My use is home studio, including synths recording.
Playback quality is very important for me, but I also need few inputs.
I see that Babyface already got two updates in last decade, but no love for the UC.

It's because the UC is the follower of the 400, the design and housing are finally developed.
The babyf. was absolutely new, new housing, design. The updates had to come, and much of them changed the housing and design.
