Hello.
I run a Fireface UC on a Macbook Pro, High Sierra, Vs 10.13.6.
My RME Totalmix is mal-functioning, with the inputs keep moving even if no sound
is coming in, and with weird noises like these:

I know it sounds like an update driver error, but i assure i did evertything right.
Could this be a Hardware mal-functiong? Please i need help.

what exactly "keeps moving"? Can you test the unit with another computer?

I have nothing sending signal to Ins 1 & 2, but the numbers
that stand below the buttons mute and solo, keep moving:
-72, -70,etc, like there is signal going in..

At 192 kHz or higher gain that would be normal. The noise sound is very untypical, no clue where this is from. I doubt it's the unit unless the power cable is not plugged in all the way...

It does not appear ( the noise) in my listening, but appears when i record
or speak to someone online.
Oline adds network and maybe even internet to your search...
I´m sorry, i don´t understand what you mean with that.
Which sample rate is the unit running at?

I think it´s fine now. I had the MID COntrol Disabled.
