Topic: Upgrade fireface 800

Hi.  I am an old rme user.  I use the fireface 800 with the octamic and I also have a babyface pro.  I'm thinking of upgrade my system and wondering what suits me best?  a fireface 802 or an ADI 2 connect it to the fireface 800? What do u think?

There are many similar threads in the forum.
I would get UFX II or UFX+ for latest technology including features like DURec, AUTOSET, MADI.
If you want you can enhance the setup by putting an ADI-2 Pro on top.
With UFX II and UFX+ you can save all settings digitally and you have AUTOSET.
Therefore I personally wouldn't get an 802 with gain poti and no possibility to save/recall Mic preamp settings in TM FX snapshots.

Difference between UFX II and + is only
- MADI, USB3, Thunderbolt
More options to scale if needed and to have two choices for connecting Interface to computer
The price difference is very low, so you should really consider UFX+.
