Topic: New to RME, trouble with total mix effects v165

I just got a AIO and am having some trouble getting started. I have Total mix effects v165. First when I  play back in cubase pro 10.5.20, and try to open TME cubase stops, so of course I can't see where anything is routing, also TME looks quite different than in the effects video. How can I open the effects panel? On v165 clicking on it does nothing, and where are the effect gains.




I am using the pres on a Steinberg UR28m (stand alone) and routing SPDIF (coax) the AIO, and SPDIF back to the UR28m for mixing. Any suggestions on using the AIO this way would be greatly appreciated.

Cubase includes a setting to continue working when in background.

You can't open the FX panel beacuse the AIO does not have FX.
