Topic: Eqing mic input

Does eqing the Mic input in total mix make the vocals eq'd in the daw.  Or is the total mix eq only for play back.

1st of all your recording interface needs to have an FX chip inside:
partial implementation, e.g. dynamics being done by driver : BBF Pro, MADIface Pro
full implementation on FX chip in the unit: UCX, 802, UFX, UFX II/+, MADIface XT, HDSPe MADI FX

You can configure it in driver settings to switch EQ and dynamics of all input channels into the recording path.
If you use loopback, then EQ and Dynamics of the Output channel are in the recording path.
Otherwise default is that audio from the HW inputs is passed through unmodified to the application (DAW),
then the effects are only for your monitor mix e.g. on phones or monitors.

I'm using the babyface pro fs
