Topic: ADI-2 DAC issue with Windows v2004 and Roon

Hi,

Windows crashes when I power it off after using it with Roon. The windows error message is PFN_LIST_CORRUPT (4e) and the stack trace implicates the RME USB driver:
SYMBOL_NAME:  madiface_usb_64+7d36
MODULE_NAME: madiface_usb_64
IMAGE_NAME:  madiface_usb_64.sys
FAILURE_BUCKET_ID:  0x4E_9a_madiface_usb_64!unknown_function

Additional Details:
I backed the OS up to the prior version (1909)and there was no issue. It updated again today - its the current release, and the issue returned. I successfully reproduced this issue on another windows machine with the same OS. It did not occur using Jriver software. Nor does it occur with any of my other usb audio hardware.

The exact steps to reproduce are:
Start Roon,
Power on DAC,
Select DAC in Roon and
Start playback. After some period of time
Stop playback,
Power off DAC -> computer crashes with PFN_LIST_CORRUPT (4e)

I notified Roon support of the issue today.

Question: From RME's perspective - is there something I can do to resolve this? E.g., beta driver, configuration issue that could cause a conflict, etc.

Thanks

Same setup here except for the driver. No issues at all. Is there a reason you use the asio driver instead of going windows native?

Yes, I have many DSD (.dsf) files, for multichannel and stereo listening.
