Topic: Direct Monitoring and Hardware FX in Nuendo

Hello there !
I'm running Nuendo in Direct Monitoring Mode with an RME UFX+, everythings goes fine.
I have a external hardware reverb. Is it possible to send the input signal to the reverb  ? (send in Nuendo, because in TotalMix it would be an hassle).

In Cubase you can e.g. define external effects by simply setting the input and output ports. Then Cubase even measures the RTL so that inside of Cubase the external effects can be used sample exact if I remember right.

Most likely the same in Nuendo.

Thank you for your reply.
My problem is that when i set up a send on a track in Nuendo (with external Input / Output), this send is not "mirrored" in Total Mix.
I assume that is not possible ?

When you define a send (AFAIR) then you send audio to e.g. AN5/6 out.
IN TM FX you see then audio coming from the Application as SW Playback Channel 5/6
This you can route as you want
- to the HW output 5/6 (so to say to the connected external device)
- to monitor, phones, wherever you want ..
