Topic: Madiface XT I/O

I have a MADIFACE XT and i had a strange problem with it. The unit is a 192 X 192 and yet my MAC was seeing it as a 64 X 64. It has been working fine up until a week or so ago. i checked the setting all looked the same. I powered down the unit but it came up the same way. I the decided to reseat the USB cable and it came back as a 192 X 192.

any clue why.

Sounds like the unit was detecting USB2 instead of USB3.

How do i prevent this from happening again. This effected all my channels above 64

Chapter 19.5.1 - Try to set interface mode to "USB3" and look whether it helps.

But I am really wondering why it sometimes detects USB2 ... not 100% sure, could this be caused by a faulty plug or cable ?

Could you perhaps also try another USB3 port on your computer and another USB3 cable ?
