Topic: New 1 s or more latency with Logic 10.5.1

Hi,

I own and RME Fireface UCX in USB mode.  My iMac is a little over a year old and up until now, things have been seamless with my RME products.  Trying to record guitar either via SPDIF or in one of the inputs, I'm seeing a massive latency with Logic 10.5.1 and my RME interface.  Is anyone else having this issue?  I've tried buffer size, reboot, closing down everything except logic etc.  This has made my system unusable.  Just checking the RME side.  Apple has not responded.

Found a fix.  There's still a bit of latency (mS) but it's usable now.  I had to plug the RME directly into the Mac instead of the USB 3.0 port that I had it previously.  Prior to 10.5.1, there was no issue... (running latest Catalina).
