Topic: Older Fireface UFX new computer Win 10 Firewire 400 adapt to 800 ports

Just bought a new desktop Win 10 machine from ADK Computers.  It has a TI firewire card that has FW800 ports.  I have an older Fireface UFX that has the FW400 port and cable.  Can I use some kind of adapter?  Any problems if yes?

No problem, best is a cable with fw800 on one end and fw400 on the other. Adapter might work too, have had good and bad experiences with them.
